Skillogy Privacy Notice

Notice version: 2026-08-07
Effective: 7 Aug 2026

This notice explains how Skillogy handles information submitted through Skill Centre, Job Guarantee, Coaching, and Members applications. It applies when you send a service request; browsing the site does not require a Skillogy service application.

1. Information we collect

Depending on the service and path you choose, an application may include:

  • Identity and contact details: name, email address, and Indian mobile number.
  • Context needed to assess a request: age band, education level, preferred language, and location, including state, city, locality, and postal code.
  • Learning and coaching preferences, such as skill or subject, category or level, current level, delivery mode, preferred schedule, learner goal, and budget band.
  • Teaching or teacher profiles, such as proposed level, class-size and fee preferences, teaching description, languages, subjects or skills, highest qualification, institution or organisation, experience, teaching modes, and short profile.
  • Placement-support preferences, such as skills, experience, preferred roles, work mode, location or travel radius, joining availability, and expected salary band.
  • Student membership details, such as institution, interests, and goals.
  • Optional evidence you choose to provide, such as resume or portfolio links. Skillogy forms do not request file uploads.
  • For a Parent application, the child's age band and education level, the adult applicant's relationship to the child, and the support interests they identify. That path does not request the child's name, direct phone number, or email address.
  • For an applicant under 18, the guardian's name, mobile number, and consent.
  • Application administration data, such as the service selected, application status, submission time, consent record, and reference number.

Our hosting provider may also process ordinary technical request data, such as IP address, browser information, and security logs, to deliver and protect the site. Do not put sensitive identity documents, financial details, health information, passwords, or unnecessary personal information into free-text fields or linked documents.

2. Why we use it

Skillogy uses application information to:

  • validate, review and respond to your request, and contact you about the next step;
  • assess eligibility and suitability for the specific learning, teaching, coaching, placement-support, or membership path you requested;
  • recommend or arrange a relevant class, instructor, coaching provider, opportunity, or employer match where that is part of your request;
  • manage application status, support, withdrawal, correction, and follow-up; and
  • protect applicants and the service, prevent abuse or duplicate submissions, resolve disputes, and meet a legal need.

Submitting an application starts a review. It does not automatically confirm a class, coaching place, membership, interview, job match, offer, or employment.

3. Processors and controlled sharing

Vercel hosts and delivers the site and application API. Sanity stores Skillogy service applications in access-controlled documents. These processors handle information to provide infrastructure to Skillogy and under their applicable data-protection commitments.

Authorised Skillogy team members review applications. After that review, we may share only relevant details with a suitable class organiser, instructor, coaching provider, opportunity provider, or employer, only for the service you requested and only when needed for that introduction or follow-up. Those organisations make their own admission, selection, interview, offer, and employment decisions. We do not publish application details or operate an open applicant directory.

We do not sell personal information or share it with advertising networks. We may disclose limited information if required by law, to protect a person, or to investigate fraud, abuse, or a security incident.

4. Retention and deletion

Our privacy-minimising default is to normally delete or anonymize application data within 12 months after the last activity. We may keep it longer while an active service or placement process is underway, when you ask us to continue follow-up, or where a legal need requires it. Once that reason ends, we delete or anonymize the information unless another lawful requirement applies.

5. Children and guardian consent

A Student or learner under 18 must involve a parent or guardian. The relevant form requires guardian details and guardian consent before a minor's application can be submitted. Parents should review the information with the child and provide only what is needed for the request. Parent applications deliberately use the adult parent's contact details instead of collecting a child's name, direct phone number, or email address.

6. Your choices and requests

You may ask Skillogy to correct or delete application information, withdraw an application, or ask how it has been handled. Send the application reference number and enough information for us to verify the request. Deletion may be limited where information must be kept for an active service, safety, dispute, or legal need; we will explain if that applies.

Contact Skillogy's privacy team on WhatsApp at +91 93183 76247. We aim to respond to privacy requests within 15 days. WhatsApp is a separate service and processes messages under its own terms, so do not send identity documents unless we specifically and securely request them.

7. Security and notice changes

Skillogy uses access controls and reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. If this notice changes materially, we will publish a new version and effective date here. The consent recorded with an application remains tied to the notice version shown when it was submitted.
